What materials are ladies motorbike boots made of?

Choice of material for the boot uppers include leather, lorica, microfibre or a mix of natural and synthetic textile materials.

A typical motorcycle boot will close using a combination of zips and Velcro, however many womens styles at the more casual/urban end of the spectrum close using laces and/or buckles & clasps.

What's the difference between mens and womens motorcycle boots?

All motorcycle boots, depending on the application and style, are designed to offer impact protection, torsional rigidity and abrasion resistance in the event of an accident, plus protection from the elements. Bike boots also need to allow sufficient movement to change gear and brake effectively.

Mens and womens boots shouldn't differ in this respect. The main difference will be in the fit of the boot. Womens calves are on average shaped differently and extend further down the leg than a man, which means that womens motorbike boots need to be made with a slightly different internal shape and overall construction.

Styling does also tend to differ. This is more apparent as you move away from practical, purpose oriented boots for sporty or adventure riding, towards the more casual/urban end of ladies bike boots.

Can you get ladies motorbike boots with heels?

If you are looking for a little extra leg length and lift in order to reach from saddle to floor more comfortably, many ladies motorcycle boots are available with a heel, raised insoles, or a hidden heel. Of course, your choice may be determined by your riding style, or whether you are typically the rider or pillion.
